Association membership
All Queensland security firms are required by the Office of Fair Trading to be a member of an approved Security Industry Association.
The Security Providers Act 1993 empowers approved security industry associations to take on a key role of improving the integrity of the security industry. This role supplements the compliance activities of the Office of Fair Trading’s Code of Conduct.
On this site you will find information about what facilities, services and products STCEAQ members have access to, in addition to news, events and proposed reforms affecting the Queensland Security Industry. STCEAQ members strive to provide the highest possible quality products and professional service available, and are committed to abide by the STCEAQ Codes of Conduct and Professional Standards.
